Safety: Normal usage Comment: A number of cedar trees are used of the botanical species cedrus, juniperus and thuja. Virginian cedar is the most widely used despite the fact that it is actually a juniper.

Use in Perfumery: Middle note, which is soft sweet balsamic and woody with a rose character. An excellent fixative especially for woody and floral types. The cleanness of its aroma doesn’t interfere with delicate florals. Safety: Normal usage Comment: Also known as Champaca wood oil, Pao Santa, Palo Balsamo and Paraguay Lignum. In its natural state Guaiacwood Oil is pale brown and has the consistency of a semi solid paste.
